HM Treasury launches SoPC4

Today HM Treasury published Version 4 of the Standardisation of PFI Contracts (SoPC4). This version of standard wording and guidance is to be used by public sector bodies for all projects in competitive procurement on or after 1 May 2007. It supercedes Version 3 that was published in April 2004. SoPC4 folows up on commitments made in the document "PFI: strengthening long-term partnerships" published alongside the March 2006 budget by HM Treasury.
