John Ogilvie High School

The £320 million South Lanarkshire Schools PFI Project involves the new build of 17 schools and the refurbishment of two others.

The new John Ogilvie High School, one of the new builds, is a co-educational Roman Catholic secondary school in the Burnbank area of Hamilton and has approximately 950 pupils. The new school opened its doors to pupils in August 2008.

The school is proving to be an enormous hit with staff and pupils alike and provides a new focus for the local community…The building is of the highest standard, providing a stimulating and innovative learning environment.
